Arriba got her first professional Dummy Taining Lesson in the Netherlands.

Today the puppies get the Microchip and the Vaccination. They were all very brave.

Several new puppy owners arrived. They will familiarize their puppy for the new environment in the next days.

The Ballbath is now destroyed, the puppies mission is complete.

19th September 2011:

Today we checked how the puppies react after we show them duck and crow wings.
All of the puppies did a great job but Miss Red was extraordinary good. What a luck that we will give her to a hunting school in the Netherlands.

18th September 2011:

We checked with the Wipp-Wapp dog toy how the puppies react in agility situations.
All of the puppies have much fun.

17th September 2011:

We placed the Gum Tree and the puppies loves it.
Strangely that chains are a beloved playtool for them.

16th September 2011:

Today we do a trip into a Gravel Pit. We needed several Helper because the puppies ran into eight different directions.
We did several trips with the puppies:

* Gravel Pit
* Meadow
* Forest
* Town
* Train Station
* Schoolyard
* Village Festival (without Red, Green and Orange)
* Visiting the Sea (without Red, Green, Orange and Violet)
* Visiting two Petfood Markets (without Red, Green, Orange and Violet)

15th September 2011:

Our bench was retitled by the puppies into “The Mining Bench” (Picture 1), their target was to undermine the Bench before they leave our house. We successful discomfit their plans by putting granitestones into their holes (Picture 2).
Readily they got very frustrated about that (Picture 3).

14th September 2011:

The puppies loves the hollow tree, they hide in it, they gnaw it to pieces and they rest in it if the weather is bad.

13th September 2011:

The distribution of the dogs is fixed now:

Orange  =  A Gimely

Dunkelblau = Akim

Weiss = Al Capone

Hellblau = August

Grün = Ánrothán
 

12th September 2011:

Due to the Mantrailing Training i found out, that many dogs have problems walking on iron gratestairs on houses and open iron plates in the city.
Reason is on one hand the scary view in the deepness of the open stairs and on second hand the inconvenient feeling on their paws.
In my opinion it is important to get the puppies used to vary different undergrounds. Therefore we built a "tactile stairway" for the puppies. First stair is a very slim and even plate, second stair is a see-through iron grateplate and the last one is an iron riffleplate.
Because of the early knowing of that stairs, the puppies walk on them easily up and down. We hope, that makes it more easy for them in their further live.

11th September 2011:

We heard from the new puppyowners that they will fill the puppies with sound.
To prevent “howlings” we will shape the puppies by ourselves.
At this time the music of Yamato is playing, because one of the childs of the new owners is playing drums. We think it is a good beginning for the puppies and i believe they like it.
In the next days we will play music from the following people: Mozart, Tschaikowsky, Dvorák and Wagner because what is good for Kobe-Cow is also good for IWS Puppies.

10th September 2011:

Today the puppies have their first trip into the “open”.
They followed Miss Marple very good. Readily she showed them how they can catch a mouse, but she eat the mouse alone.

The Ballbath suffers under the destructive force of the puppies. We will publish a photo of the endcondition of that toy.
You don’t have to be an oracle to see that we can’t use it for the next litter.

6th September 2011:

Since today we fill the puppy room with sound effects.

This is a CD with several environment noises like Fireworks, Drill noises, Baby yelling, a fast driving motorbike and so on.

The puppies have no problems with the noises, only Miss Marple is a little bit irritated and looks around to find the imaginary machines and pets.

The Weightstatistic is actualized.
The puppies chews on some meat but only Miss Red ate the full meat piece, the rest used it as a chewing gum.

The eight names of the puppies are fixed.
Some of the names are chosen by the future owners.

The A-Team get now her own room and slowly discover their new space.
Now they got Beef Mince and special whelp food additionally to the mothermilk.
After the unbeloved pedicure they sometimes chew the elk’s ear off.

Mr Brown the Climber left us. We are inconsolable because it rips a hole in our hearts.

In the new edition of the Huntspaniel Clubnewspaper adorns Miss Marple the cover picture.

Mr Lightblue was the first one who opens his eyes and Ms Red was the first one who travels a short path on her four paws.

Furthermore the Breed Warden Angela Schümann did yesterday the first Puppy Check, that we solved successfully.
The two bitches “red” and “yellow” passed the 1 kg border yesterday with 3 g difference between them, it’s a head-to-head race.

If all works fine we will get the puppies at the end of July.

We are very excitedly.

Miss Marple is in Heat.

Two days ago she met her Dog Partner in Copenhagen: Doonbeg Rare Flair.

Now we have to plan for the mating.
 

10th April 2011:

Miss Marple and Dagmar reached the 4th place with “Nele and Claudia” as a team in the Spring Trophy of the DRC.

Several funny tasks have to be done at this day:

• Dog carries a basket filled with sausages over a distance without eating
• Feeding the Dog with Chinese Chopsticks
• The Dog have to free the chained Dogowner with a Key-Dummy

The weather was also very nice.

26th March 2011:

Bernd successfully completed the examination for a Showleader-, Specialleader- and Ringhelper-License of the VDH.

20th March 2011:

Miss Marple successfully completed a “Truffle Search Training” by Denise Stadler.

The Training was very interesting and informative, we recommend it.

Now we try to bring Miss Marple nearer to “The Game” (Hunting Training).

Crufts was an unbelievable Event for me, it was very big and every dog has its own box.

The show organisation was very good and i saw a lot of dog breeds.

There was a big bunch of IWS like on the World Dog Show.

Crufts was one of these shows, where you get the chance to meet the faces behind the other breedernames.

The shop offer was a bit smaller than i excepted, but i find some treasures for me.
 

21st February 2011:

Today Miss Marple celebrates her 3rd birthday.

She got a monstrous bone from us, it was so big that she was very exhausted after the feeding.

Now she looks like a Lady, except when she is eating big bones.

13th February 2011:

Today i want to report about the origin of my breed:

That the Curly Coated Retriever is originating from us, is probably nothing new for you.

But also the Golden Retriever had a high chance originating from us.

The Golden Retriever is created from a cross-breed of a  Tweed Water Spaniel and a Wavy Coated Retriever.

Unfortunately there are no Tweed Water Spaniels anymore. This breed has the same appearance as a Irish Water Spaniel, the only differences was the heavier muzzles and the pointed skull. Our breed is older (ca. 1789 <=> ca. 1816) than the Tweed Water Spaniel, so it has a high chance that they are originating from us.
